How to Delete Your SoundCloud Account

If you’re tired of listening music at SoundCloud.com and you’ve now realized that you don’t want to continue using the service, then this is probably a good moment to close your account permanently. Keeping up with so many sites at the same time is hard, in my opinion is always a good idea to reduce the number of sites that you use on a daily basis as much as possible, because if you don’t you will definitely end up losing a lot of valuable time.

Follow the steps below if you’re absolutely sure that you want to cancel your SoundCloud account for good:

How to Delete Your SoundCloud Account

  1. Go to SoundCloud.com and login to your account.
  2. The navigate to http://soundcloud.com/settings/account, or simply click on the previous link to go there automatically.
  3. Click on the “Delete Account” button.

You should also know that accounts cannot be delete through mobile devices, which means that you won’t be able to cancel your account on an Android, iPhone, or iPad device. Instead you will have to access your account through a desktop or laptop computer (PC/Mac), open your favorite browser and type the URL above, and then complete the account termination process directly from there.

Also, don’t forget to remove, revoke, or cancel access from other services, sites, or social networks to your SoundCloud.com account, especially if you created an account using a third-party login such as Google+ or Facebook. If you don’t the termination process will never be complete and they will probably keep sending notifications, messages, alerts, updates, and more.
