If you accidentally or temporarily deactivated your Facebook account, or if you simply tried to delete it because you wanted to take some time off the social network, but now you’ve come to realize that you actually want it back, then I’ve got really good news for you that will probably make your day.
Turns out that reactivating a Facebook account is very easy and it doesn’t take much time either. If you deactivated your account, you can recover it by simply going to Facebook.com and logging in to your old account using the same email address or phone number and password that you’ve always used to get into the site.
If you don’t remember your password, Facebook advises users having this problem to request a new one through the password recovery page. After resetting your password you should now have all the information you need to get back into your old account.
If the previous set of instructions didn’t help out and you still can’t sign in to your account, then check out Facebook’s login troubleshooting tips page to see if you can find solutions to common login problems and password issues. If nothing works, then ask Facebook directly to help you recover your account here.
Now, when you’re on Facebook’s account recovery page, just enter your email address, phone number, user name or full name in the blank field box located right below where it says “Find Your Account”, click “Search”, and then follow the provided instructions.
