Accessing Google Drive from your Gmail account isn’t complicated at all, however, if you haven’t done it before, then you might have some problems finding the appropriate shortcut key by yourself. To do so follow the steps below:
How to Access Google Drive from your Gmail Account
1. Go to https://mail.google.com/ and login to your account, if you haven’t already done so, of course.
2. Click on the 9 dot icon (Google Apps) at the upper right corner of your screen.
3. Now click on the Google Drive icon that will be displayed in the list of options in a drop down menu.
4. Done!
Since you’ve already logged in to your Gmail account, you won’t have to enter your email address and password again in order to access Google Drive directly from there. But, if it’s your first time using Drive simply click on the “Take me to Drive” button in the pop-up window to set up your account.
Once you’ve set up your Google Drive account correctly you can save Gmail attachments in Drive automatically, or you can upload files directly from Drive and add them as attachments to a new email message.
